I installed Zorin 18 on an old iMac and I was very excited to see it run practically like the day it was made. ![]()
But since I ran the first system update, performance seemed to drop drastically - the system seems overall less responsive, boot time is definitely longer, even the little animation the screen makes when you first log in is choppy now where it was buttery smooth at first. ![]()
What happened?
Does the system update undo optimizations applied over Ubuntu by the original system install or something?
Anyone else run into this issue?
