The original topic has expired. I am currently using Devuan 4.0 ('chimaera') and on installing KDE connect it now comes with KDE Connect SMS so in theory I could send a text from my desktop! See if Zorin Connect has this now. If not consider installing KDE (Plasma) and whether you have it then.
Yeah, zorin connect has this, and whilst I've not used it, It should still work just fine for the most part
