I'm also interested but to be honest just this week I had to make the decision for a +40 ppl and i decided to go with Ubuntu because of Ubuntu Landscape and lack of Zorin Grid
Ya, I'm over here sweatin bullets. My company is considering migrating away from their current Linux offerings and they need to migrate over 1k devices. Our biggest hurdle is remote management of devices and there's currently not even an open beta to download and fiddle with. I certainly don't want to imply they would go with Zorin and Zorin Grid if they got their hands on it; but they--can't--go with it till they get their hands on it and I'm worried that will be after it is made public.
162 days till Windows 10' EoL date.
I know one of the teams vlogs mentioned they'd have Zorin Grid ready for Win10 EoL. Hopefully they're still is on track for that.
Just wanted to keep the conversation going! I'm really excited about the possibility of Zorin Grid coming to life and can’t wait to see it!
Welp, 89 days till Windows 10 EoL's. The next time this thread "needs" to be bumped will be after that. I'm hoping for details and the opportunity to begin working with Zorin Grid "soon" so we can have time to work with it, evaluate it and pitch it to our teams, CIO's and CFO's.
In the meantime, I hope the product is not released till it's done, (even though I hope that is very soon) and that the team developing it is able to have some good work/life balance while polishing this product.
Regardless of the timeline though, I am super excited for what Grid could mean for Linux adoption and for the future of Enterprise IT. Only time will tell. Till the next bump, GG's Zorin team : )
: )
There may be updates after the release of ZorinOS 18.
Any sources you can share, or just speculation?
Well now there is 1 day before Windows 10's EoL, and its also tomorrow that Zorin OS 18 releases.
ATM only speculation because I think it will be a big thing if many small businesses switch.
Hi there! Just curious, does anyone have information on how far the planned "Zorin Grid" -concept is along?
I'd love more info too, but it seems the Zorin team is not currently sharing anything beyond "someday(tm)"
I really like the idea of Zorin Grid but as I am an impatient old git, I made my own tool.
Hope I dont wind up the Zorin Developers as this works great for any Ubuntu based / derived system ... even Raspberry Pi pc's
Cool
but I think it should be web Based Running on Docker or VM.
Keep that thread open. Zorin Grid is a thing!
I am beginning to think it is not a thing. Zero communication from the Zorin Bros on this topic for such a long time. Very disappointed to not have any update.
I am a little worried but over all I'm hopeful. They addressed a desire to create the product a few months ago in a vodcast and implied a "soon" release date. Sounds like they chose to highly favor working on the new OS release and put everything else on the back burner; which given their immense and recent success with Zorin 18, seems like a wise move.
But given how long it has been on the back burner, it does feel slightly abandoned, but I suspect they'd quietly (or loudly) remove the "Zorin Grid" page, especially from being listed at the top of the landing page if they actually abandoned it.

Dudes, it's still front and centre on their webpage, and if they mentioned it in an interview, i really can't see how you can be so despondent. Disappointed, yes. Despondent, no.
Sure, we like the idea of it - it seems pretty cool. But it's a 2-man show (i wish it weren't, but hey, it's not my project), and they had a very important Zorin 18 to push out. 18 was/is super important to Zorin as a whole because of the timing of it's release and Win 10's demise. They needed to nail it, and from what little i've seen of it so far (none of my "production" machines (lol; the kids and mum and dad :D) run it yet). I've played with it, and my brief experience with it has been extremely positive.
I suspect Grid won't really even be available for non-business users anyway... or rather, i'd have to pay business-like fees to use it.
The initial announcement landed in 2020, almost six years ago. At that time, the announcement stated it had been in the works for "the past 2 years."
Zorin OS's 16, 17 and 18 have been released in that time.
So, no... I do not believe users are being impatient, nor overreacting.
Well considering it takes 18 months to roll out Zorin 18 (based on Ubuntu 24.04), i'm not sure what you should expect. Until Zorin is more than a two-man show, it's going to be slow development. My perspective is that of a personal user, not a business user.
That said, Zorin would do well to provide some kind of milestones or something.
