Good evening. I'm looking for some people to kindly help me.
I received my new laptop today, a MSI Vector 16 and immediately tried to install zorin OS to replace Windows. But when I arrive on the desktop of zorin and the installer asked me to connect internet. It just states that my drive is only 31.5G (that's the USB key used to boot zorin) and don't seem to recognise the internal SSD.
I installed Zorin OS on another laptop 6 months ago and it was flawless but on this one I've been banging my head onto my desk for like 2 hours.
I'm quite a beginner in Linux but I can work my way around some instructions.
Fast and secure boot are disabled if you're wondering.
Has anyone ever faced this issue and found a solution ?

Make sure Bit locker encryption of the drive is disabled as well. Windows makes it default enabled now a days.
Fast boot and Fast Startup, these are 2 different things. Fast boot is a firmware feature while Fast startup is a Windows feature. Make sure Fast Startup is disabled inside Windows.
One more thing to check inside your BIOS/Firmware is Drive Sata mode. Setting it to AHCI might help, if that was the cause.
If it still doesn't detect, then from the Zorin Live environment launch either Disks or Gparted, check if the drive appears or not. Some of the commands to get informations related to the drive:
lsblk -F
sudo fdisk -l

What Tool did You use for creating the Bootstick? Is Your BIOS in UEFI or Legacy Mode?
