Zorin OS 16 is the ALMOST perfect newcomer's distro

Ok, IMHO, here's the bottom line: manufacturers will charge whatever they want for devices, and because they aren't paying Microsoft that much averaged out over each device, the licensing fees for Windows don't affect the pricing of a device significantly. Therefore, people aren't paying any significant amount more for Windows than they would if OEM's preinstalled Linux.

Remember every M$ product mostly is produced with operating system to them hardware what engineering build and cost all windows key license like operating system. What I reading you cannot update example laptop with windows 10 home to windows pro because the hardware what is there mostly is compatibility with this operating system. Linux don't have that to be friendly any electronics hardware if a drivers are exist or not closed.

You can update any laptop from Home to Pro, it has nothing to do with hardware. It has to do with the extra features that are in pro that are not available in Home. In fact you can actually see them in Home, but they don't work.

Yes that is true but low laptops have example a starter windows.
Do you think so the low peripherals laptops can installing a windows pro? The challenge what i give you tips trying installing windows with minimal hardware specification what they wrote to installing windows 10 pro example but this is specificvation for installing windows 10 pro but when you trying start operating system then you see a blue screen and you cannot using your laptop or PC.

But Windows Pro is I believe aimed predominantly at Corporate users. Maybe less good Windows option when alongside Z16 as dual-boot partner.

Really I don't have any experience with Windows 10 - just from article and people who are comparison linux and windows.

My PC stopped on W7 and now Zorin.

Do I think low hardware specifications have anything to do with Pro? No, because nothing in the software has anything to do with hardware. The only thing you may need is a gig or two of extra hd space. But Home is pretty much Pro without the extra features turned on. There is also Enterprise which is different than either Home or Pro which is the one geared towards businesses/corporate.

Yes.
Here is example minimum specification:

Minimalna specyfikacja 🇻🇸 Windows 10 32 bit - YouTube on this movie 6 minutes 35 second after finished installation over 2 hours.
How to sayed:"I won't believe it until I see it".
Micro$oft sometimes is a comedy what they are doing.

LOL, I honestly didn't even know Windows 10 was still available as a 32 bit...

Who would buy that type of laptop?

I'm also not sure what is included in 32 bit as it's different than 64 bit.

Comparing 32 to 64 is comparing apples and oranges.

100 gb's.... LOL.. Windows is going to take half of that right off the bat...

I just go forward guide minimal installation windows 10 from microsoft side.
I gived you a proof it is not a working.
I would back to topic Zorin OS 16 is the ALMOST perfect newcomer’s distro
