Zorin OS 16 Update won't get past boot screen

I just updated Zorin OS 16 today using the software update.

I proceeded to reboot my computer and now its stuck on the Zorin OS Boot Logo.

any ideas?

If you are using Nvidia graphics card, it could be a driver related issue. I have a Nvidia card in both of my desktops and have faced similar situations time to time.

Assuming you are using Nvidia card, you can follow the instruction on this page to fix it (3rd answer from the top):

Now I understand the peril of using Nvidia driver, I temporally switched to Nouveau driver before applying any graphics card related driver update.

@FrenchPress thanks for the response, unfortunately it's not the case for me. I'm using a Dell XPS 13" which uses integrated Graphics off the Intel Chip.

Are you dual-booting or Zorin is the only OS in this machine?
