Attempted to install Zorin OS 18 on my new laptop with RTX 5070 and Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.
Unfortunately, after installing the NVIDIA 580 driver, the fractional scaling is broken and half of my screen disappears.
Attempted to upgrade to kernel v6.18.1 but then the NVIDIA 580 driver from the repository fails to build:
Building initial module for 6.18.1-061801-generic
Secure Boot not enabled on this system.
Error! Bad return status for module build on kernel: 6.18.1-061801-generic (x86_64).
Unfortunately, Zorin OS which is based on Ubuntu 24.04 provides no easy way to fix this.
I've attempted to get the 590 driver:
but the autoinstaller doesn't detect it once I add the PPA.
What would be the best way to approach this?
