Zorin Os on MacBook 3.1

Hello everyone. This is the first time I've installed linux on my laptop (Old MacBook 3.1), and managed to activate everything. Including the webcam camera that previously didn't work, now it's functioning normally.
It's just that now the problem is the sound that comes out of the speakers seems broken and unclear. Is there a solution for that? While on mac os the speakers sound normal. Anyones please help.... Thanks

Can you check what soundcard you have ? i fixed mine yesterday and it was a ALC255

So far not really luck to find something. In terminal write alsamixer and try to config a bit there

From the web i found this: Getting Intel ICH8 Family (rev 03) Sound Card to Work in Gutsy | Linuxtechie's Blog

Ok Michael... I'll try.... Thanks for your help

I've tried a configuration like this, but the sound is still "broken". Is it possible to use other drivers?

No, i think alsamixer can fix this because it did with mine (see post 2)
