How can i find this Software Center?
The photo shows indeed the Softwarecenter. Click at the top on 'installed' (the middle butten of the 3) and scroll down to the bottom almost for viewing if you have Core 22 inside the Gnome.
If you don't : click top Left Corner of the screen circular arrow, and wait if updates are prompted or not. Follow onscreen instructions. @Jonte
Zorin Connect is of no real use at all.
sudo apt purge zorin-connect
sudo apt autoremove
sudo apt autoclean
And never worry about Zorin Connect again. Terminal one by one copy paste the lines above.
Zorin aims for a good integration with the smartphone and use all of the phone via the computer. Pointless action of course .... , WhatsApp has a good working app for Zorin stand alone, and Google Chrome integrates all about Google.
Some apps, like banking apps, it is not wise just to trust a Zorin-app on the smartphone that is granted ALL privileges. Not on my Smartphone !!! There are better and other ways in Android for syncing between computer and smartphone. But I refer to Android Google for more information ......
This is only applicable if you are using Flatpak.
Flatpak or Snap packages can pull in higher dependencies due to them being independent and double-sandboxed.
No, not at all. What I am seeking is Understanding, Accuracy and Clarity.
@Jonte is currently concerned about the state of his Zorin OS Build.
I do not believe that there is cause for concern and I will admit - I do not believe that there is cause at this time for action.
Isn't Flatpak the same as sudo apt update ?
No. Flatpak and APT are separate things.
However, Flatpak updates will show on the Update tab in Gnome Software Store.
I got Brave Browser in software store today is that a Flatpak?
In the Software Store, if you select the page you installed Brave Browser from, you will see a Source
button appear on the upper right on the titlebar.
Click that and it will show the source you installed from, whether from Zorin Repos (APT), Flatpak (Flathub) or Snap.
I get updates every time when I installing fresh installation.
Is Flathub = Flatpak?
Yes, Flathub is the Home of Flatpak.
Same several available today - Brave, Zorin OS /Zorin Print
Brave Browser update i got from Flatpak?
Yeah opened my machine recently!
Thanks for the notification

Yeah that looks good, I think I installed Brave directly and not through software center so mines not flatpak.
@seanhinkley I have Brave Browser also but i installed through Software Center is it better to do it from sudo apt install or is safer to do it through sudo apt install?
Gnome design is changed some update?
It looks better.
What is main advantages to use Software Center or sudo apt install on the Zorin machine and what is the cons? @Bourne ?
@Jonte. Well i tried Gnome when it was on Zorin 16.0 and then going with xfce4 but when yesterday installed and updated it looks much better are they update gnome version or something like that? Icons are better, system more smoothly, still don't figure if freezing desktop installing many extensions. Well maybe because i was mostly on xfce and cinnamon and when now i am a while on gnome it looking like a new episode movie star wars.
Gnome is it Software Center?
