I'm from Mexico and I have an old Lenovo and I've always liked Linux for its design. But I always had problems with Wi-Fi on other distros until I found Zorin OS, which is why I highly recommend it however, in almost all the distros that I have tried except for Elementary OS, the screen flashes, I suppose that some graphical driver is wrong and I am very new to Linux (because since Linux fails me a lot, I almost always end up switching to Windows) and sometimes I also I think it could be because of my low-resource PC since it has 4GB of ram and an "ITEL inside" But I don't think so since something similar has never happened to me in Windows, not even in Win 11, so if anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it
Can you please run in terminal
sudo apt install inxi
inxi -Ga
and post it here to show your graphics stuff?
Try to switch to Xorg. Logout and at login click on your username, then a cog wheal appears at the bottom right corner. There select "Zorin Desktop on Xorg".
4 GB is not much for gnome desktop, this may cause the problems. I would recommend installing Zorin Lite instead. You could install Zorin 17 Lite or wait until Zorin 18 Lite is released in a few months.
Make sure that secure boot and fast boot are turned off in your BIOS and if you have a Dualboot with Windows also fast startup is disabled there.
