Zorin Worked Smoothly While Testing But Slow After Install

I am new to Linux and just installed Zorin 17.2 on two laptops. I chose Zorin because it seemed like a beginner friendly OS (transitioned from windows) One laptop is running great (newer) and the other one is now running slow. During the testing environment Zorin 17.2 was running smoothly and quickly but now it has been installed it is quite slow and I'm not sure why.

Laptop Specs:
HP Laptop 15-bs0xx
Memory: 4.0 GIB
Processor: Intel Pentium (R) CPU N3710 @ 1.60 GHz x 4
Graphics: Mesa Intel HD Graphics 405 (BSW)
Disk Capacity: 500.1 GB

In the terminal I used a command to see what was causing it to boot slow and this is what I got

Any recommendations? It is booting slow and running slow.

Are you booting into Wayland or Xorg?

Also, for the members troubleshooting: Please clarify if Slow Booting is the issue or Slow Performance is the issue.

Welcome to the Forum!

Is only Zorin installed or is it a Dual-Boot System with Windows or Mac?
Did You disabled Secure Boot in the BIOS?

You could first try it with uninstall Snap if You not need it.

Another Thing: Your Hardware Specs are relatively low. so, maybe Zorin Lite with xfce Desktop could be worth a Try.

I am booting into wayland

I started with Windows 10. Before I installed Zorin I went into the BIOS and disabled secure boot and I also disabled fast boot in Windows. I am not dual booting with windows and Zorin and am just running Zorin.

I had a feeling that since this device was a little dated maybe the latest version of Zorin may have been too much, but still wanted to check with others prior to doing anything else considering it was running smoothly in the testing environment.

4GB RAM
HDD or SSD?

If it's a HDD, this combination is, probably, the reason.

use Xorg, try Lite rather as suggested. SSD will make a world of difference.
i'm on Lite , 4Gig ram and 512 SSD , and my PC is flying lol
