I'm still on ZorinOS Core 17.3 and since an upgrade to 18 is now possible, I wanted to do that. But the upgrade app gives me an error:
When I'm following the suggestions of the help page, I sadly can't fix the issue (Fix "Failed to download repository information" Error - Zorin Help):
sudo apt update
It's in German I'm afraid but it's complaining about Brave (no errors, only warnings). I don't like Brave and I've "purged" it when I installed ZorinOS because I'm using LibreWolf or Chromium if I have to use Chromium-browsers and didn't want brave on my PC. Maybe there are some leftovers that still are hanging around somewhere, producing those warnings?
Sadly I couldn't fix those warnings by the help of the article because neither the "Software & Updates" nor the "sources.list" file in
///etc/apt
are listing anything related to brave:

I always have got some kind of errors with updating because "Software & Updates" always complained about some problem but after ~30 seconds of showing that message it somehow still decided to have found updates and made them without problems.
Does anyone have an idea? Is Brave even the problem (only warnings not errors)? Is there some place where Brave is still clinging to that I need to remove it from?
Or is the upgrade simply not possible without Brave because ZorinOS needs it existing since it's the standard browser? Do I need to reinstall it? Possible via apt-get?
