I was a Windows user from the mid-1990s until 2023.

My first Linux distro was Mandrake in 2004. After that, I flirted a bit with Linux but then had proprietary software for work, so Linux was not an option.

Zorin helped me switch from Windows to Linux in summer 2023, and I'm happy I did. Now that I've forced myself to be completely immersed in Linux, I occasionally drop by this forum for help and to learn more.

I've used Zorin 16 and 17. Presently (2026), I'm running Ubuntu as my daily driver.
