I started with Four Phase Computers back in '85. Got transferred to Cellular. My part of the company bounced around a bit, and is now owned by a different company for the last ten years. I've dabbled with various Unix/Linux machines professionally and personally over the years.

FYI - When I use my work computer, and have VPN up, it may look like I'm in Finland. Don't be fooled. I'm in Arlington, TX!

My most recent machine was a cast-off laptop that I loaded a version of Zorin on, principally to run coffee roasting software. That need came to an end. Last time I had that machine up it was waaay behind on updates, and didn't have enough diskspace to handle them all.

Now thinking about loading a newer machine with 15.3 or 16.0 (which will be out...?). This machine will be principally for trying to run Steam and play LegoWorld with my 7 y-o grandson.
