Retired computer guy...my experience goes back to Commodore Vic-20 as a high school grad gift...mostly Windows pc and network management in my career, some database programming and management, dabbled in *nix in virtual machines over the years...here to learn about a popular distro and get it to work on a 7 year old [backup] Acer laptop.
