About me, well I started programming in 1978 on Mainframes. I've lost count of the number of languages I've used over the past 4+ decades. I'm retired now. My first Computer (owned) was a VIC, the C64. From there I went to an 8088, duel floppy PC. Next was a 386. I've written DBase II, Clipper, DBase III & IV, Fox Pro 2.5 & Visual Fox Pro 2.6 & 3.0, Visual Studio 5 (Mostly VB), Visual Studio 6 (VB again), then came Dot Net starting out on VB and then C# for over a decade. I've dabbled in Java, Java Script, and Python and some Pascal or Delphi.

The last 5 years I've gotten into Raspberry Pi, Orange PI, Arduino's. I DO like micro computing, and physical computing. I design my own circuit boards these days.
I started with Linux using Mint 18.04 release, I really liked it; but must say Zorin is amazing.

Earlier this year, 2025, I built out two Batocera Retro Machines (Raspberry PI 4, 8 GB, 1 TB SSD and Orange PI 5 a 16GB, 1 TB M.2) Each has 53 Retro Machines and over 42,000 games.
