I have installed the beta and it works very well. My issue is samba permissions. I have installed and configured samba and added my user with smbpasswd. I can connect to the share but get a message that I am unauthorized to access it. Testparm shows all is good with smb.conf. Not sure what is going on.
Just moved this thread to general help for now, as it's not really feedback at this moment, more looking for help for a specific problem.
Can you clarify how are you accessing the Samba shares? Is it through the files manager → Other Locations?
Trying to access through the GUI. It shows that I connect to the share but the error is I don't have the permissions to actuall access the share. I use the smb.conf that I always use for a distro and I definitely used smbpasswd -a (name) like always. It let me input my password but just did not work.
Problem is solved. Issue was caused by Apparmor.
Did you uninstall AppArmor or did you configure it to allow SMB somehow?
