First off, I think Zorin is great. I've just migrated from Windows 11, and I paid for Zorin Pro within a day of installing. Well worth it.
That said, while I'm pretty comfortable with Linux in a server environment I've never used it on a desktop before, and I do have a few questions about the GUI, which I wondered whether anyone in this forum might be able to help with?
Zorin menu and dual monitors - On Windows, if you have a dual monitor setup you can have the start menu on both monitors. It's a small convenience, but I haven't found a way to do the same thing on Zorin with the Zorin menu. Is it possible?
Files / Nautilus - Is there a way to have file operations like large copies shown in their own window, or at least visible by default, rather than having to click on the progress circle?
SMB shares - Is there a way to gracefully mount smb shares automatically at login through the Startup Applications feature, rather than hardwiring them in fstab? I expect this is a case of knowing what command Files executes when you mount them manually.
Thank you one and all for any help you can offer!
