Hey guys , I was upgrading my dad's computer from Zorin os 16 to 17 . It took a long time , later when I saw , the upgrade app was stuck , infact the wbkle system from freezed . I have taken a backup using the backup tool that comes pre-installed. Currently it's not booting . It gives two errors. First image shows when trying to normaly boot and second when in recovery. For now I am using love USB to fix os with the option that comes .
Boot your Zorin installation USB.
Find grub repair (boot repair) and run that to see if it sorts boot conditions for you.
Hey so ,I tried that it didn't work. So I removed my ssd from that laptop. Connected it to my other Zorin os laptop using sata to USB connection. Opened the Nautilus as root. Inside home I copied all the files that were important. Then reinstalled Zorin os 17 fresh on dad's laptop and copied all over again
