I have installed Zorin OS using intel drivers. My laptop has a GTX 2060 and I want to use the proprietary drivers. I followed the guide to enable and install the proprietary drivers however the menu is grayed out and says that a manually installed driver is in use. I've never installed any drivers manually on my own.
Please help me resolve it.
Ensure that Secure Boot is disabled in BIOS settings.
Open Software & Updates and ensure these boxes are checked:
Launch Terminal and run
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
Launch Software & Updates and check the Additional Drivers tab for any changes...
...and "Download from" is set to Main server
instead of any regional server.
