I would like to add a standard address bar to my taskbar. Convenience of it is great.
Zorin OS doesn't come with such functionality natively, so an extension is required to do so.
(1) Install Dash to Panel extension
(2) 1. Add a search applet. After installing Dash to Panel, you can add a search applet to the panel's settings. This allows you to type directly into the panel to search for files, applications, or websites.
Also, please keep in mind, if you press the super key, to bring up the activities overview, you can also type in that search field for apps, but you can't search websites with it.
Maybe this extension could help if you want to get a search for web in your taskbar. I didn't find a widget that does the same as the address bar in win 10.
