After installing windows 11, dual boot not working

So the things exactly happen in following order : -

  1. changed the disk partitioning from MBR to GPT
  2. installed windows in a different disk partition.
  3. now only windows boot when I hit start button.
    is there any way to get back zorin live ?

since u changed MBR to GPT that caused the issue since bootloaders work differently in MBR and GPT

there are two methods to fix ur problem

first method (it will be sucessful but will require reinstallation of zorin) to do that ; boot into windows and open disk managment app, from there carefully delete the partions where zorin is installed. now shutdown ur computer and boot from zorin live usb in UEFI mode. MAKE SURE U SELECT UEFI MODE (since u have GPT disk) . from there select install zorin then select install zorin alongside windows boot manager

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT DOING THE SECOND METHOD AS IT MAY CAUSE ISSUES WITH UR WINDOWS BOOTLOADER

second method (this will not require reinstallation of zorin or windows, but may not be sucessful and there is a risk that u might end up corrupting windows bootloader) ;
try to boot from zorin live usb and find an app called boot repair and from there u can fix ur problem, but remember this method is risky and u might end up corrupting windows and make ur computer unbootable
