I'm making a new run in Age of Wonders 4. My monarch is a Feudal King of the cat race, named Lucius Faulkner. He got a lot of treats as Im using a mod that set all treats to cost one point. I know it's cheating but I'm more into roleplaying than statistics.
Who exactly are you cheating? Unless you're playing multiplayer with someone who didn't agree to the mod, climbing a leaderboard with an unfair advantage, or treating it like some kind of strategic accomplishment, the way I see it, you're not cheating; you're changing the rules. The thing I've never liked about achievements/trophies is that they turned even single player games into some kind of competition. Play how you want; have fun how you want. Unless you're spoiling someone else's fun for taking credit for something you didn't earn, you're playing fairly. The computer sure doesn't care.
Thanks. I only singleplaying games. I can't stand multiplayer games, it's stressful and there's no time to do other stuff, like pet the cat or drink the coffee while it's still warm.
I'll do multiplayer, but only cooperative, which takes a lot of the stress out of it. Unless it's the fire giant in Elden Ring; that guy's stressful no matter what.
I was all set to get an update on your real cat .... thought maybe he had done something a bit naughty .... LOL
