When doing anything, playing games, listening to music, in discord, watching videos the audio will fade out after some time and then will randomly kick back in if a sound is loud enough, i.e. someone on discord talks and then I can hear everything again.
Not sure if there is some setting I'm missing or something, any help to get this resolved would be greatly appreciated.
Is that using Flatpak or Snap sourced app's? Just wondering if is an integration issue due to their sandboxing. Does it also happen with apps sourced as .apt or .deb?
most of the apps are downloaded from the software store using flatpack, but it's doing the same thing on firefox which I downloaded from the store using the Zorin apt package.
I always take an interest in sound (audio) issues affecting ZorinOS users. But this one baffles me. I have done some websearches for Ubuntu but can find nothing.
Can you tell us the spec of your machine and what soundcard it has.
Did this fading start happening all of a sudden e.g. after a software update, or have you always had it from installation?
