Hello Ladies and Gentlemen!
I have found something interesting in the Repo's: The 7.0 Kernel. I was surprised that it is there. Available are Headers, Image an Modules Components. The Modules Extra isn't available.
I don't have it installed (yet). But I thought it was worth to mention here.

My Intention was not to oust the Liquorix Kernel. I only saw it and found that it was an interesting Info. So, I shared it here.
Is that 7.0 kernel a normal kernel like the 6.17? Or is it like the mainline kernels?
Are there features missing from the kernel because it doesn't have those linux modules extra?
As we didn't know, what the Zorin Bros. are planning for the next step, MAYBE it's bringing us the Kernel 7.
That would PROBABLY be a huge improvement for 18.1 or 18.2.

When you look at the Image and Headers Packages in the Screenshot, You see that these are signed Kernel Packages and not unsigned like the Mainline One's. What the Modules Extra Packages in specific offer, I don't know.
It is in the Ubuntu Repos, not the Zorin one's.

But it is in the Noble-Updates... so backported to 24?

Good Question ... It doesn't seem to be in the Noble-own Backport Area. It is in the Update Area.
Just an update Ubuntu 26.04 is currently using kernel 7.0.0.27-generic
UPDATE:
Now, the 7.0 Kernel came as a System Update in Version 7.0.0-28. So, it seems that was a Preparation.
The Timing is interesting when I think about the Point that the -40 Update for the 6.17 Kernel came out not long ago.
My Irritation about the missing linux-modules-extra Package is explained, too. Ubuntu doesn't use that anymore. I found that in the changelog:
Installed here, I was on 6.17.0-1028-oem because of my wifi card, but for now all is fine with this 7.0, let's see what next 
An additional Information to the new Kernel:
I've read that there is an Issue with AMD GPU's and heavy Workloads like with AI should be careful because the Driver seem to have an Issues and cuts down the Performance. Gaming seem to be not affected because it uses other Parts.
There really should be a feature in Zorin like the one in Linux Mint that ensures the kernel is only upgraded to higher hwe versions if you want it to be, and not automatically. After each bigger kernel upgrade there are so many problems reported in the Zorin forum.
In really particular cases, and for now it doesn't affect me at all with my AMD GPU, but I will tell you if something happen...
Oh Yes. I did notice more blank screen and "kernel panic" posts after software update. Then us suggesting users first to try boot previous kernel via grub "Additional Options for Zorin". Latest not greatest comes to mind.
When You don't run AI/LLM with it, You shouldn't have Issues. The Issues seems to be relatively specific. Ubuntu already knows it and a Patch seems to come with the next Update as far as I understand it.
Linux Mint has the good built-in Kernel Management Tool. That is definetely a good Addition.
