I made a departure from Zorin after I accidentally trashed Zorin 15 after a family argument. Around this time I discovered systemd-free distributions. I still have an affection for Zorin as at the time I joined (Zorin 4 about 2010) was the only (then) GNU/Linux distro that looked anything close to Windows following the demise of Freespire, the community edition of Linspire.
I would see how you get on with Core first before jumping into Pro. The only difference between Pro are additional themes and a ton of Software that you could install yourself using Synaptic Package Manager. In the meantime you could acquaint yourself with Zorin 18 Core by taking a look at the Unofficial Manual I have written for it:
