Hi to everyone. Does anyone know if there are any plans for a 17.4 release for Zorin OS 17? I doubt it, but you never know. I was pleasantly surprised to see that when I did a test install of Zorin OS 18.1 on my PC hardware (out of curiosity), the flickering problem in X11 with window animations was resolved. I was like, "wow." So would such a fix be forthcoming for version 17.4 (if that happens)? I don't think there's been a point release that went past a third one for a Zorin OS release, but ... yeah. There's still over a year of support left for Zorin OS 17. Thought I'd ask. Thanks.
P.S.: Also, tagging @AZorin and @zorink if they care to comment.
Historically, once a new version has been released, no further point releases for previous versions are released. So Z17.3 is the end of the road for Z17.

Thought so. Still, couldn't hurt to ask. Thanks anyhow.
Zorin OS 12 did get a point four release, so it can happen.
But yes, the point three on Zorin OS 17 is the final point release.
Interesting. Thanks. Wonder what the story was behind 12.4.
Z12.4 was the last point release of Z12, but was before (not after) release of the next full version, which was Z15. (Don't ask about Z13 or Z14).
What happened with Z13 and Z14? I only joined with Z16.
I said "don't ask".
Well there was no Z13 or Z14. Version release sequence was Z12.4 → Z15.

Early in Zorin OS releases, there were two editions that were not named using the Zorin OS Numbering convention;
Limited Edition '09
and
Zorin Multimedia
So by that count, the milestone release that Zorin OS 15 was was the fifteenth edition, not the thirteenth. The ZorinGroup decided a reset was in order.
This is the answer provided by Artyom.
Summary
However...
I suspect that it was timed not just because 15 was such a jump, but it opportunistically allowed dodging the naming of a Thirteen. Not because the ZorinGroup are superstitious; but out of deference to users who are.
The Zorin Multimedia was very early on (around Zorin OS 2)... not an official release and ended up folded into Zorin Ultimate which was part of all numbered editions; not a separate numbered edition.
But it does allow that two numbers are skipped which lends credence to the justification. Had it jumped from 12 to 14, any explanation other than skipping 13 would strain credulity.
