Any suggestions for a radio station program

Hi,

I use RadioDJ on my PC but looking for a similar broadcast radio program for Zorin.

Not DJ as in dance, but in radio station DJ.
Playlists etc.

I have taken a quick look at Mixx and VirtualDJ but they seem like the dance DJ.

Any ideas please.

Thanks

I use "Shortwave" as radio station app.

What about BUTT?

Thank you for the reply.

Yes I use BUTT in the PC RadioDJ but isn't it to actually send the audio to the 'net? I will check it out.

It is the Playlist part I am looking for. RadioDJ is superb but they have no intention of going anywhere but Win sadly.

I need to setup a playlist from a folder of audio, and have it auto play them to the net and whoever has the link.

I am confused...

No confusion. BUTT is for live streaming (as it happens) from what I read into it. @ozstar wants to stream a playlist.

Using Brave A.I. search engine via Mojeek gives:

Linux RadioDJ Alternatives

Several alternatives to RadioDJ are available for Linux users, including:

  • LibreTime : Another open-source radio automation software that can be used as an alternative to RadioDJ.
  • OpenBroadcaster : A free software for managing radio, television, and digital signage, suitable for Linux users.
  • Rivendell : An open-source digital audio workstation designed for radio automation.
  • Sourcefabric Airtime : A comprehensive solution for managing radio stations via the web, offering intelligent archive management and live broadcasting capabilities.

These alternatives provide similar functionality to RadioDJ but are specifically designed for Linux operating systems.

Ah, now it makes sense. I thought it was receiving radio.

Many thanks to all.

I admit it was a little strange !

Anyway I 'll take a look to see if I can do anything with one in that list.
