Anyone know or uses CoreCtrl?

From what I can see, you can control the CPUs of your system with this little perl.

I have used it in the past, though it has been a while. I found it useful at the time.
But on this new computer... I just did not feel the need to install it.

Because you have the CPU you needed to run things smooth? I can see the need if the you're low on CPU power.

Exactly. I just didn't need it. I did not really need it on the older computer... It was an industrial computer bought second hand. So it was running at 4.2 gz.
The new one is 5.7
I installed it before just to learn about it and play with it.

Never heard or used this. So I'm guessing this is like MSI Afterburner but with CPUs? Or is that something else?
