Hi. I've waiting for the appimage of Zorin 18 pro since October. When I try the 'Zorin OS Upgrader' I get the following: "Install software updates to continue." There are two more lines which say "An update to the Zorin OS Upgrader is available" and "Open Software Updates". If I then click on this I am told that everything is up to date. Is the appimage of Zorin 18 Pro available or not and, if it is, how do I get it ?
The upgrader tool to upgrade from Zorin 17 to Zorin 18 is still in the Beta phase. If you want to try, you can use this guide to enable the beta upgrade:
There are risks, so think carefully if it is worth to try. You can try it, wait until the official upgrade will be available or make a fresh install of Zorin 18 pro.
I haven't ever heard of an Appimage of Zorin 18 pro, so I don't understand what you mean with that.
You mean Upgrade or ISO, yes? Because there is no AppImage of Zorin OS.
Or perhaps they are confusing AppImage with .img ... the latter is what EasyOS uses (descendent of Puppy Linux).
Really sorry. You are all correct. There is no appimage of the Zorin OS I was getting mixed up.
However, the rest of my post is correct. Is the Zorin OS Updater for Zorin 18 Pro not ready yet?
No, the upgrader tool is not ready yet. You can use it, but it is not the final version and it has not yet been officially released because there are still problems.
Thank you all for your replies. Sorry about my mix up.
