Yes, Zorin is a LTS distribution as it is based on ubuntu 24.04. Ubuntu has LTS versions and non-LTS ones, but Zorin is always based on the LTS versions of ubunu. You can try a current ubuntu 26.04 LTS version, that should work with the script, or Debian 13.
OK, well I kind of gave up getting the script to work. I was attempting to get it work myself. I found a post on another site where someone with a similar device was having the same issues where their trackpad and audio didn't work. They shared a solution from someone getting their trackpad working on Mint and it also worked for me, but sadly the fix that got their audio working doesn't work for me.

The link is interesting because the script could be customized for LM.
Did you encounter the same syntax error when running the audio script as the user there, or a different one?
No frustratingly, I didn't encounter any errors when I ran the script outside of just mentioning that I'm not running a supported distro. So I don't even know where the issue is coming from.

Yet it still only detects dummy audio.
From a terminal session (Ctrl+Alt+T)
run
alsamixer
In alsamixer.
Hit F6 to list sound cards.
Post a screenshot of what is listed.
Sorry for the delay but sadly I can't get any function keys working, even with an external keyboard. Is there any alternative to get the information you're asking for?
I don't know about the keyboard issue, but found a possible solution for sound:
Without use of function keys working, you will have trouble.
If you were able to get alsamixer screen displayed, post a screenshot of that and maybe it will give a clue.
Hopefully Swarfendor's post will help solve the problem and this is not needed.
