ATI GPU - proper startup

Good day.

I apologize for my English.
I installed Zorin OS 18 Core on a MacBook A1398 (GPU - AMD Radeon R9 M370X 2 GB and an Intel GPU). If I boot the system without additional settings, I get a white screen and artifacts in some applications and on the desktop, and some applications "hang" the computer (browser, Signal, etc.). If I add "nomodeset" to the GRUB settings, the problem goes away, but there is no smoothness and high resolution, the system doesn't look as nice.
What can I try to do to use the system fully? This is my first Linux, maybe I need to carefully look into the drivers?

Thank you.

Welcome to the Forum!

When You go to the ''Additional Drivers'' Tab in Software & Updates, is there any Driver offered?

No, it says "no additional drivers available" and "no proprietary drivers are in use."

From websearch using: "AMD Radeon R9 M370X Ubuntu 24.04"
Found this: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1555042/ubuntu-24-04-3-lts-on-a-late-2015-macbook-pro-with-hybrid-graphics-graphics-pro

Thanks, I didn't know I could take options for other distributions. I'll try it out.

Zorin 18 is based on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. So, when You have a Problem, You can look for Solutions for it, too.
