Are you on Zorin 17 or 18? Do you use the default audio server (in Zorin 17 pulseaudio, in Zorin 18 pipewire)?

Im on zorin os 17.3 education and what audio server i use idk

Open terminal typing Ctrl+Alt+T
type:

alsamixer

Hit F6 to show soundcards.
Do you have more than one soundcard?

Hit F5 to show all sound channels, both inputs and outputs.
Post a screenshot.

Try unmuting any mic and headphone channels marked "MM" by using arrow keys to the channel and type "M" to unmute. Increase volume using up-arrow.

Also play with Auto-Mute and Loopback-mode channel settings and see if any effect.
