I think it is going to be Rhythm box. Correct me if I am wrong.

Yes, while it is indeed true that Rhythm box is technically the default audio player in Zorin OS 16, it is most certainly not my favorite APP at all. I never did like it, and it never came across as a truly flushed out APP.
My most favorite all around media player that plays all audio files, and all video files, is VLC Media Player. To me its the best media player around, and it also comes already installed on OS 16, at least the PRO version anyways.

Obviously, VLC is an universal solution for playing all AV files these days.

Rhythm box froze when I was in Z15 and the only solution I found to get off that windows was a forced restart. Never used it again.
I prefer and use Audacious. I also have a stand-alone Deadbeef.
