Automatically mount external USB drive (mp3 player)

Hi there! Again a noob-question from an ex-Win10-user: I have 3 near-identical USB drives (mp3 players for the kids), when I connect the first one it shows up instantly but mounts only when I click on it. When i eject it after copying files, and connect the next mp3 player, then nothing happens for some minutes. Only after waiting it shows up and can be mounted. Same for the third one. So, the questions:

  1. Can I make them mount instantly and not only after clicking on them?
  2. Is there some way to prevent the waiting time for the second and third drive? Or why is there a waiting time at all?
    regards, Baelor

While regular drives like USBs or SD cards are mounted automatically, certain devices need to be explicitly told what purpose are they supposed to be used for. Android phones is a good example of this, where they default to charging instead of sharing their filesystem.
I guess something similar is going on here... is there some sort of menu or prompt displayed in the MP3 player when it gets plugged in? It may not appear right away, you might need to try and use it first.

A good place to start looking into this would be to plug one of them and launching Disks on Zorin OS. This should display more details about the device. Please take a screenshot of that to see how it looks like.
