I’m back to Firefox; I’ve been using only Brave since it was released.
Since Firefox version 149.0.2, I’ve been back on Firefox (+uBlock).
It feels like Firefox is currently running faster than Brave. I installed Firefox as a Flatpak, and everything runs super smoothly and quickly.
I like Brave, but Firefox seems to be putting in a bit more effort again.
Are there any drawbacks to using Flatpak?
It depends a bit. When You download or upload Files, You would have to see if it works because of Permissions. Same with Stuff like Printing.

Just tried it out—downloading or uploading files, printing files or web pages—everything works
Okay. Another Point could be when You use external Devices like Camera's.
But when the Flatpak works for You, that is fine. But when You should have an Issue with Acess to something, You should keep that in the Back of Your Head.

My personal concern with Flathub (the app store, not the technology used), is that I can’t physically locate it.
I’ve been back on Firefox (+uBlock).
Actually, no... Because there are three versions of the uBlock plugin.
uBlock, in one (and only one) word, is an ad and other c r a p blocker, just like the others.
uBlock Origin, in two words (no more, no less), is used by Firefox on the Tails Linux distribution (for example): addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/ublock-origin
uBlock Origin Lite, in three words (no more, no less), is a derivative of uBlock Origin for Chromium-based browsers: chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ublock-origin-lite/ddkjiahejlhfcafbddmgiahcphecmpfh
