I want to briefly refer to the way by which I was able to solve the Battlenet problem.
First I installed Steam, which allowed me to have Proton Hotfix, therefore, through Lutris, to install Battlenet.
Once this was done, I placed the suggested Lutris configuration, which allowed me to install Diablo II Resurrected.
I thank all those who suggested solutions.
Huh. I'd been avoiding Steam as an option because we don't know which version of Proton "hotfix" and "experimental" are, but hey, as long as it works.
