As the title says, what's the best way (to have a smooth experience) to use my iPad as a second monitor for Ubuntu?
By the way, I am on Zorin OS 16.

Ubuntu or Zorin?

Try this:
IPad as second screen, on Linux
But this guide is XORG ONLY
ok, so no problem with xorg
You can install Virtscreen
and try seeing if that works. I have never used it myself, so I know little as to the details of configuring it.
I use this guide with my old old old IPad 1(IOS 5.1 jailbroken) and IT WORKS
ah, at the bottom of the page there's an offline mode, if your wifi is poor(like mine...hehe)
Okay, I'll try both and see which one suits me. Thanks to you both @SignorCastello @Aravisian
I found this but it is necessary to create the virtual display? If yes, is there an easy way to create the virtual display? Maybe an app?
And what's the benefit of buying a virtual display adapter?
