Better Video Performance?

So, I upgraded my office to use two 34" ultrawide Lg monitors. When I went to use my old desktop box, the on-board video could only drive one monitor and not at full resolution, so I picked up the most minimal video card, and now I have this Zorin box driving two 3440x1440 monitors very well... except when I happen to run video in each monitor, then they get a bit choppy. Is there anything that I might check? I can't find drivers for Linux on the manufacturer's website, and I've made adjustments in the monitors to handle things better, but perhaps I'm missing something rudimentary.

Now, I'm not disappointed with anything here. I'm not a gamer or A/V person and I know that I could have bought a better card, but this is an old (15 yrs?) mobo, and not my primary computer, so I'm quite content with what I have. And I'm not Mr. Data who can watch Pluribus in one monitor and Silo in another. It's just sometimes I have my TV app going in the background, and I suddenly need to watch a short how-to video on YouTube. In any case, I just thought I might see if I can learn more about the OS.

What card is it? Model and Brand?

If you have an Nvidia GPU, simplest solution, is to install your proprietary Nvidia driver.

It might help if we had make and model of graphics card. You could always buy a cheap second graphics card if your motherboard supports additional Graphics Cards.

That's a thought, but I also started thinking how much it would cost to just upgrade my CPU, mobo, and RAM: something w/ built in dual HDMI for wide monitors, and I was surprised that I could get some nice upgrades for less than a grand, but I think I'll just live with this and think about a upgrade next year.

One other thing is that this new video card recommends a 400-w power supply. Well, mine is only 300, but what's more concerning is that I never saw the P/S fan running while the lid was off, so I poked the fan w/ a pencil (yes, powered off) and the fan seems gunked-up and won't spin freely.

So now there is a 500-w on the way.

Depending on Your Use Case, I think an APU could be enough. So, You wouldn't need a new Graphics Card and Power Supply. and with an APU, You don't have so much Power Consumption.

I share this as a positive review of the product. (Issue has been solved.)
