Trying to install Betterbird (I prefer this to Thunderbird) but it doesn’t show up in Software Store.
From his Facebook post he mentioned an "error 7: couldn’t connect to server", which could indicate something else is wrong.
Tried this thanks. Still no joy.
Can you please try:
killall gnome-software
sudo apt install --reinstall gnome-software-plugin-flatpak gnome-software-plugin-snap
Relaunch Software Store and test.
I wonder if Betterbird is only available as a snap or flatpak.
From his Facebook posts he can't connect to eg. flathub.org so the problem is a connection problem somehow.
