Black screen on HDMI output to TV on Wayland after Nvidia update

Hello, I recently updated to nvidia-driver-580. The driver runs excellent on my laptop's built-in display, but when using multiple displays (TV via HDMI) the secondary screen shows as completely black. The screen is detected by Zorin just fine, but nothing shows. If the screen is extended (i.e. not mirrored), the cursor still appears on the second screen, but no other content displays.

This only happens for me on Wayland, however I have other issues with X11 and would prefer to stick to Wayland if possible! Any help is appreciated.

That is not the best solution, but does it help to disable the igpu if you have one?

Would like to give it a shot, how can I do that?

This is a bit of a Problem because on Zorin 17 the Combination of X11+Nvidia works in common better.

Can I ask what other Problems You have when run X11?

You can try to run
"sudo prime-select nvidia" to use only your nvidia card or take a look in your BIOS settings for graphics.

Switch to X11 at Login Screen.

For the time being I have reverted to nvidia-driver-570 which has solved the issue.

Apologies if this is not useful to others who find this thread in the future.
