Hello, as you may know from my previous Post, I have ONN. Bluetooth earbuds they work perfectly well with my Samsung S25+ the sound quality is excellent, I use them very often. In Zorin OS 18.1, if they work, the sound quality is bad they don't sound as good.
Just to be clear, are these 'earbuds' or 'headphones'?
I did a Brave A.I. search that came back with:
" The search context does not contain specific information regarding the audio quality of ONN. Bluetooth earbuds on Ubuntu 24.04 .
However, general issues with Bluetooth audio quality on Ubuntu are often related to:
Codec Compatibility : Ubuntu may default to lower-quality codecs (like SBC) if high-quality codecs (like aptX or LDAC) are not properly supported or enabled by the system.
Bluetooth Stack Issues : Some users report persistent Bluetooth connectivity and audio problems on Ubuntu versions, suggesting that kernel updates or reinstalling Ubuntu might resolve underlying driver conflicts.
Hardware Limitations : Budget earbuds like ONN. may have inferior hardware that struggles to maintain stable connections or high-quality audio streams over Bluetooth, especially if the computer's Bluetooth adapter or drivers are suboptimal.
For specific troubleshooting of ONN. earbuds on Ubuntu, checking for available codec support via terminal commands or exploring community forums for your specific hardware combination is recommended.
