I just installed Zorin OS 17. After some tinkering I have everything set up. However, I have noticed an issue with my Bluetooth mouse. When not using the mouse for a few seconds when I go to move it again it takes about half a second for it to begin moving. Once it has "woken up" again the cursor moves without delay. However, encountering this delay when moving the mouse each time I have left it for a few seconds is quite annoying. The issue goes away when using a 2.4gz receiver so it seems to be an issue with the Bluetooth connection momentarily sleeping.
Is anyone aware of a fix for this? I have seen people post here about mouse stutter issue but in my case it only occurs for a split second when I first move the mouse.
Hi there.
The mouse is a Roccat Burst Pro Air.
The chipset is: Wi-Fi® 6, 802.11ax 2x2 Wi-Fi® + Bluetooth® 5.1, M.2 card.
Laptop is the Lenovo Slim 7 ProX 14ARH7
You can try possible solutions, I mean try to adjust the power management settings for Bluetooth in Zorin OS 17. Go to the Bluetooth settings and look for options related to power saving or device sleep.
Disable any settings that allow the system to turn off or put the Bluetooth device to sleep to see if that resolves the issue. And maybe updating your system and Bluetooth drivers to the latest versions may also help alleviate any compatibility issues causing the delay, try that one too.
