Congratulations today 04.02.2026 after updating to Zorin OS 18 core, there are glitches, my tray icons of running programs fell off, this is a mini-display for monitoring and backlight control!
why did this happen I suspect that Zorin has its own view and does not display colored icons!!
I currently recommend unchecking this box because the tray icons are broken - colored icons are not displayed in the tray!
you can disable Zorin Appindicators in gnome extensions and install AppIndicator and KStatusNotifierItem Support from there, reboot, it worked for me.
Try it with disabling the Extension and enable it again. Or try a Reboot.
it still doesn't work for some apps and for displayed apps there is an artifact behind the icon (v.61.1.1)
