Built-in antivirus

Zorin OS should have a built-in antivirus like Windows Defender

Why? It's not necessary as for normal user as long you keep to official repositories.

And there' aren't reliable anti-virus app to Linux anyway. You can install clam but it's no good most of the time.

Clam is useful for scanning emails for potential threats. You should however utilise rkhunter and chkrootkit applixations to guard against rootkits.

I don't think Linux is as susceptible to viruses as Windows is. After all, the best antivirus software for our operating systems is a well-functioning human brain that will not be tempted to dangerous and malicious websites.

Having a functioning human brain, most certainly will help indeed. Having said that however, its always best to be prepared. While ClamAV leaves much to be desired in the GUI department, it does however function as an available option, to scan for virus's & malware.

When Linux will have a larger userbase..it is bound to face more virus attacks..that’s why i think eventually Linux users will also need to consider malware attacks as a likely threat

The thing is, it's a lot easier to trick humans to give away critical information to bypass security mechanisms than it is to develop a malware that does the same.

Malicious hackers still need to be clever and all, but most security vulnerabilities that you see on the news need to have a foothold on the target machine to work properly. This requires some degree of social engineering, which is increasingly easier to do thanks to AI.

So, the same advice that has been valid for 30 years is now more relevant than ever: don't download random stuff you find online, and most definitely don't install anything you don't need or understand.

Although considered less susceptible and attractive to malware, Linux is not immune to it.
I think ClamAV/ClamTK needs improvement, also Rkhunter and Chkrootkit are not nice tools for newbies.
