I have an exteranl hard drive with files Ioaded from Windows (not a back up). Will I be able toaccess them in Zorin. I haven't made the switch yet, just dont' want any surprises when I do.
You should be able to check this in 'Try Zorin' (live mode) when you boot from the installation medium. All GNU/Linux OS's come with ntfs-3g, the software that allows you to access NTFS.
@FloridaGal yes, you will be able to access them. I have a portable hard drive that I use with my work desktop that is Windows 11. As long as you're not opening .exe files, you should be fine ![]()
Thank you. No .exe files. Just videos, pics and doc.

This may be the perfect excuse to start working on that ![]()
Even if you don't end up using Linux at all, it's always a good idea to have back ups of your data.
