I have Flatpak apts on Zorin Lite Xfce ..... see photo below ..... can these be removed without causing a problem ????? .....

Yes, if you are not using any flatpak packages, those can be safely removed.

Thanks worked like a charm ..... I'm flatpak free once again ..... I chose this command ..... flatpak uninstall --all --delete-data .... it seemed to work as I have no flatpak apts left on my machine ....
