Can you help me with information about the Zorin OS?

Can you help me with information about the Zorin OS? Does it support Microsoft applications or others? Because I want to know if it's safe to switch from Windows 11 to this Zorin OS. I'm quite interested and want to know more about Zorin OS.

Some applications written for Windows, will install and run with Wine, which is like a compatibility layer suite. However, Windows applications that require registry usage, or for specific services to run in the background, will not work, like Adobe Photoshop for example.

Worry not however, Linux has some Windows software alternatives, located in the software store, and they are free. For example, Gimp for editing photo's, Kdenlive for editing video's, Libre Office or Only Office for office suite apps, there is also open office.

Believe it or not, Linux has a couple native apps that Windows also has, like Blender the 3D modeler for example. And there are many alternatives to the alternatives on Linux, your almost certain to find something you need, or we can help you find it.

The best thing to do is to create a Zorin USB boot stick, then you can boot from it and select "Try Zorin." This will allow you to test whether your hardware works with Zorin and see which programs are installed.

For example, I use Photoshop, how about a replacement application? What if Photoshop doesn't support it, bro?

Because I use applications on Windows, I'm afraid that when I switch to Zorin, I won't be able to use all of them, like other editing applications.

Yes, that is possible. Not all Windows App work well in Linux.

I'm confused now, are there any applications like Photoshop available on Zorin?

There are no Windows apps installed. But you can install linux apps that offer similar functions.

That is true even using Windows App Support i.e. Wine.
You could dual-boot ZorinOS alongside Windows, so you still have Windows you can boot up for certain preferred apps, that you cannot find Linux equivalent.
Another method would be to create a virtual machine for the same.
