I need to copy a plugin file from Downloads to my Keepass2 Plugins folder. When I try a ‘copy to’ I get a permission denied error. How do I get around this?
Have you tried it with root permission in terminal you just enter sudo before the command and it should work.

As OneCode noted, use root permission. An easy way is to type sudo nautilus in terminal, and use that nautilus window to do all copying. Just be careful to not accidentally delete anything while with those permissions.
Also be wary that you might mess up permissions if you copy as sudo. If that is important for you.
