Cannot print HP Laserjet - printer busy

Hello,
my HP Laserjet M1132 MFP seems installed correctly, but cannot print anything.
I have installed HPLIP and it recognized the printer and installed it. It is listed in the printer list.
If I start to print I get the message "unable to connect to printer". In the HPLIP panel is "busy - code 1001".

I have already tried to:

1. Restart the printer and pc.
2. Check the connection between the printer and pc (USB)
3. Uninstall and reinstall the printer.
4. Set the printer as default.

Any help will be appreciated.

After running

sudo apt install hplip hplip-gui

Have you run:

hp-setup

Or with USB Connected printer:

hp-setup -b usb

after installing the latest OS update, for some reason the issue was fixed and now I am able to print.
